I have a difficult time reading from TBR or EK when trying to understand the chemistries or physics. I have Chad's videos and I learn a lot better through visual and auditory methods so I was wondering if it was possible to just use him for those sections and then do passages/practice questions? Or is the content review in those books absolutely necessary in order to do well (I guess that's relative, I'm aiming for 30+). ?

I have no experience with Chad's videos in particular, but as long as you have book sources of practice passages it doesn't matter where you learn the material. The content won't change no matter the source (assuming of course that the source is of appropriate depth and error-free).

As an example, you could learn all the required content using WikiPremed and do TBR/TPRH passages.

However you learn best is the way to go.
I personally would fall asleep in the first 20 minutes or end up on FB or the Misc.
ahhh internet.....

I would heavily advise against it. You need to try and get through the books because it will help you get to a 12-13 proficiency for the MCAT. I watched all of Chad's videos and did all of the quizzes (except Biology) and it helped me get a basic understanding. Watching the videos first makes the chapters so much easier to read. I can read most chapters in 2 hours because of Chad. My advise is to supplement Chad's videos with the books. More reinforcement is better. If you really can't go through the book, supplement Chad's videos w/ the quizzes + passages and I'm sure you can still score a 10. Good luck studying!

I agree completely, the videos are useful for building a foundation, but they don't cover everything. After the videos you need to work through the books. Practice, practice, practice, practice, and more practice. Then practice a little more.

Yeah, you can't just watch the videos and expect to transition to the FL's without any practice.

Watch the videos, and do the Berkley Review practice questions.

If you can score well on those just from watching the videos, then it's enough for you.
