Can I study for the new MCAT using old MCAT test materials (exam krackers)?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
For physics, ochem, and genchem? Yes. For biology, biochem, and sociology/psychology? No. And honestly, I don't recommend EK for the last three subjects.

Make sure you download from AAMC the pdf of content material that will be tested on the new MCAT. You could likely use your old books to study those topics that were on the old MCAT and are still on the 2015 MCAT. For the rest of the new material, you will probably need a new set of books.

I used Princeton Review's Course Review Books (I didn't use their prep course). Most important resource, in my opinion, is the AAMC practice tests. I heard that AAMC is planning on releasing one or two practice tests for the 2015 MCAT.

I'd recommend either TPR or Kaplan for biology, biochem, and the behavioral sciences--I thought EK did a really poor job with their biochem in particular, but that's just my opinion.
