do i have to wait for AACOMAS/AMCAS to receive or process or verify my transcripts before I can submit my application?

You don't have to wait, but you won't get anywhere until they are in and verified.

"Applications will not be processed without an official transcript/letter from the school(s)." AACOMAS Instructions, pg 11.

They will get your transcripts and it can take 2-3 weeks (or more at this point) to get verified and submitted.

Who knows, it could be 2-4 weeks until you get verified.

Follow the 2015 verification thread and it will probably give you the best idea. There are some people who sent in transcripts middle of last month and still aren't verified. It's the busiest time of the cycle.

Honestly, just send the request and enjoy your time before the secondaries flood in. It's pretty early in the cycle and some secondaries won't even go out until late July/early August.

You have a strong application and the extra time won't stop schools from sending you IIs.
