I am trying to figure out what if it is okay to submit my application, so I have a few questions.

1) Is it okay to submit my application without lisitng schools first? (Just submit to PTCAS)

2) I am waiting on 1 LOR - From my understanding this can be listed later, correct?


Things that are complete:

Essay
Coursework (Retakes are in and listed)
References - Just need one more
GRE is in
Observation hours are verified

You need to list schools. I mean, whats the point if it's not going anywhere? But if you don't feel like you're ready to give it to the schools, then just wait till you are. I'm pretty sure you have to pay the fee before it's officially processed, so you need to figure out the schools so they can calculate the fees.

The LOR can be received after it's submitted as long as they come before the deadlines of the programs you're applying to.

Well, it takes PTCAS like a month to process your application before it is ever sent to schools. So it sounds like OP just wants to get that ball rolling.

Honestly, I would call PTCAS. They will give you a better answer than you will find on here.

When I completed my PTCAS, the system would not allow you to 'submit' your application without listing schools.

I dont think so, the initial processing is just done when they first receive your application. But again, I would take 10 minutes and call PTCAS. They get these types of questions all the time and are happy to answer them for you.
