So I know some schools require two semesters of English/literature and I have already taken one course for a grade. If I took another before matriculating pass/fail, would that be ok? Is it looked down upon/do med schools think you're lazy?

Worried about us thinking that you can't handle rigorous coursework? ?????

1) So I know some schools require two semesters of English/literature and I have already taken one course for a grade. If I took another before matriculating pass/fail, would that be ok?

1) If protecting your GPA by taking a P/F class is important enough to you, you've got the option of only applying to schools that don't require two semesters of English/schools whose expectations are to demonstrate "competency" in a subject through other means. You'd have to decide if using this application strategy would take too many schools off your list that you had planned to target.

2) Well, yeah.
