When I get out of dental school, is it possible get a grade in medical school classes (without enrolling in medical school)? I think certain courses would be beneficial for the GDP but I like comparing myself to the rest of the crowd rather than just auditing courses. Maybe my priorities would change, but I feel I would learn the information better if I was actually tested on it.

If this is an impossibility, is it possible to work on a PhD while working as a dentist part time in the biomedical sciences? They have some similar, but more specific coursework that I feel would be equally beneficial.

Thanks.

I would think they'd gladly take your tuition dollars. You are basically free money...they have to provide you with no resources like advisors, tutoring, etc.

Free money I'd say!

Although there may be other ways of more efficiently learning the material as it applies to your practice philosophy as opposed to learning the subject from a purely science point of view.

Just some thoughts.
