Hi, I just found out that I still need to take a speech course, microecon, microbiology lab, human anatomy, and human anatomy lab, but I want to apply this September. I was thinking I can take Econ and micro lab in the summer, and take speech and human anatomy + lab in the fall.

So the question is, can I take prerequisites after applying to Pharmacy school in September, or do I have to take all the prereq. before applying?

Look up the information on the websites of the schools you wish to apply to. However, it is normally one of two things. As stated above: You will have to have them completed prior to matriculation. While some schools require some courses be complete by the end of spring semester prior to fall matriculation.

Each school is different. Some schools want all pre-reqs completed by the end of spring semester of the matriculation year. Some want it done by the end of summer of the year of matriculation. This should be the first thing you look at prior to applying to schools if you know in fact when all your pre-reqs will be completed.
