Can I take required courses after I apply to medical school?

Some of the medical school I am interested in have course requirements that I will not be able to take by the application deadline unless I take a gap year. I am not planning on taking a gap year, so does that mean I cannot apply to those medical schools, or can I apply and still take the rest of required courses after the application deadline?

Are they courses you need for the MCAT? Taking that without the pre-reqs is a bad plan.
 
No these are stats classes but I already took Calc

Some schools require them when you apply but most require them for matriculation. YMMV - I'd look into the schools you're interested in
