can interview invites come by email?

I've been running to my mailbox every day, hoping for that fated letter lol. I was just curious if invites ever come by email. I've heard people say they got acceptance emails on here....

Yes, theres been email interview invites but more frequently the schools will actually call you directly.

All three interview invites I received were by mail (atleast, I'm pretty sure they all were). So check you're email as often as you check the mailbox!

Oregon State sent my interview invite by email. Western and USC were snail mail. Oh and the envelope with a campus map visible through it is an interview invite. No map... well, hopefully they just forgot.
