Can letters of rec obtained after ERAS submission be used?

If I turn in my application in mid September, for example, and get a letter of rec from an attending during a rotation during the month of September (meaning he/she will likely write it in October), can I still send that to programs or will it be too late by then?

Or should I just wait until October (or when all my letters are written) to submit my ERAS?

You should be okay if you apply in Sept. Your Dean's letter likely won't be on ERAS until Nov. So having faculty post letters in Oct should be no problem.
