Can Medical Schools Do This

Can medical schools see if you are scheduled for an MCAT when evaluating your primary?
Essentially, does AMCAS inform them that you are scheduled for one or are they only informed of your scores?

After your MCAT scores a line follows: Additional MCAT Intent Date:
If the school's policy is to wait, they will; if not they will proceed to screen the application.
