Hi all,
I'm thinking about retaking calculus at another college since my school only allows repeats with a grade of D or lower (I'm aware of the fact that math does not count in sGPA but I am looking into doing this for the improvement of my cGPA). I took two calc. classes at my current university during my freshman year, worth 4 quarter units each so 8 total. The class I'm looking into now is definitely enough to replace at least one of the aforementioned courses, it is a 5 semester unit course (~7.5 quarter units, just 0.5 units shy of being enough units to replace both).
What I would like to know is if there is any way I can petition to have the grade for the 5-semester unit course replace both 4-quarter unit courses? The content covered is the same, my first quarter of calc. was derivatives only and the second was integrals only. The semester-long course covers both derivatives and integrals.
Any chance this would be possible?
