This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Yep. But you can't get away with not knowing your calculations and conversions!

yes you can definately pass without knowing drug names, but IT A MUST THAT YOU KNOW HOW TO DO THE CALCULATIONS.

Btw i just received my tech license in the mail today. i passed the july 22nd exam. so it basically took about 2 months after i took the exam to receive my license.

Yeah you can do it. Know the math though.

I hope u guys are right. I have the noah reifman book, as suggested on this site. The books has 5 exams, and only about 10-20% of the questions are math. Also math section in that book is very skimpy.

are these tests not very reflective of an actual exam since they lack sufficient amount of math questions? Should i buy a different book in order to prepare myself better?

Having just past the exam in July as well, I can say that the math is the biggest part of the test.

Know your SIGs as well, it ties into many of the math questions. And, of course you will need to know drugs eventually, so it wouldn't hurt to start learning some of them, I found this link useful - Top 100 Drugs.
