Can programs see when I know I was going to take Step 2 CK?

I did >15points worse on CK 🙁

Have a really strong step 1 score though. Applying derm.

If they see that I took Step 1 on Oct 7th or whatever, then I figure they would get suspicious about not having a score report. In that case, I would think maybe I should just release it and be completely upfront about it.

But if they can't see when I took step 2, I can just avoid bringing it up all together unless asked.

Thanks!

EDIT:

I guess the only place it could be is the USMLE transcript, since I didn't write it into ERAS anywhere. Does this transcript only include results or does it say things like "Signed up to take Step 2 CK ___ date"

I imagine it doesn't since you can change dates up to the very end.

USMLE transcript only shows results.

I dont think they can see when you took it, but i have heard of programs requesting students to release teh report (so they can probably see if the score is available?)
Besides i think anything over a 250 is fine.. even if you did drop 15 lbs or so

Meh. Still above average, if just barely so.

Programs can't see when you were going to take it, but certain ones won't rank you without seeing that you've passed it. If I were you, I'd release it in late January or so.
