Hello,
I am using a throwaway for privacy's sake. After a mandatory physical for the school I was accepted to, I was diagnosed as a Type 1 Diabetic. It's been hard enough to adjust to the new lifestyle without the added stress of performing well in school. I now have to return the findings of the physical, and updated vaccinations, etc. My question is can the school withdraw my acceptance based on this diagnosis? I would assume there are disability laws in place, but I can't help but be concerned about my future.
Also, if anyone also has T1D and could share any insight into how managing it in school has been, I would love to hear it. Feel free to PM me!
Thanks in advance!
