Can someone explain how to interpret these three values?

Fetal heart tracing shows 140/min
Long term variable of 6 cycles/min
beat to beat variability is 2/min
I am not an OB, but the beat to beat variability is low. It should be between 5 and 20-25 IIRC. Low beat to beat variability could be a sign of fetal compromise.

So the first line is fetal heart rate, which is above 120 so it's normal.
But what does the second line mean? What should the range be?
And ok that's good you told me about the third line...so it should be between 20-25....Thanks.

Anyone care to help with the second line?
