Basically I got this reply from a dental school and wondered if someone can explain this to me- I am bit new to the whole US education system

"For our DDS program, we require that prospective applicants complete 90 semester hours of academic work at an accredited 4-year college or university. We do not require that you complete 4 years of undergraduate work. You can complete the 90 semester hours of academic work in the US or Canada-UK at an accredited 4-year college or university."

I mean does that mean I dont have to do a BSc undergrad ?

You don't have to, but there's a higher chance of getting accepted with a bachelors.

You can try to get in after only 3 years of undergrad, but you'd be a lot more competitive with a bachelors. Many of the schools now require you to have a bachelors.

So all they are saying is you can apply after 3 years and not get your say bio degree

BUt it is defo required to do the 3 years !! so cant apply after the second year

sorry am just amazed by the whole US education system 🙄

Although 90 is the minimum, most would want ~120 credits (bachelors degree).

What it's basically saying is the exact minimum to be accepted is 3 years worth of work, (or 90 semester credits) from a 4-year institution/university not a community college.
