Can someone explain to me the different assessments offered by NBME for step 1?

I'm sure this is a stupid question but I see everyone referring to NBME exams as 'forms' (i.e. form 1, 3, 6...). Is everyone referring to the NBME comprehensive basic science exams found on the NBME self assessment page, or is there some other exam? These $45 1 time 200 question exams seem to be the only step 1 assessment on the site. Just wondering if i'm missing something...again sorry for asking a probably really obvious question. thanks.

You've got it right!

Sorry to hijack, but I had a related question. Where can I find the "free 150" offered by the NBME? Is it that 27 meg download for fredv1 and fredv2 on the site or is there some other practice assessment test? Thanks!

So, concerning the free 150 score conversion by medfriends.org, does anyone have any experience as to how accurate the prediction is? My practice tests have been UWSA1 245, UWSA2 247, and today I did the 150 and got 88% (255 on medfriends). I'm optimistic but at the same time I'm afraid these are all an overestimate...

I haven't done any NBME's yet...with two weeks left is it worth taking 4 hours out of studying time to take an NMBE? Would it be a more accurate prediction?
