Can someone explain to me what AMC (not AAMC) stands for?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I did find the glossary. Doesn't seem to explain what an AMC is though. Here is an example quote I found on the forums, "A quick poll: Is your AMC postponing outpatient, non-urgent neuropsychological evaluations? Not sure if what I am seeing at my institution is normal or not. "

Since that thread is in the psychology forums, AMC likely means "academic medical center." This would be one type of setting a clinical psychologist could work in as opposed to a Community Mental Health Center (CMHC).
