It's a tough one, at least for me.
 
lol Actually, is it just C because that's the only one that corresponds to the square with solids lines at the top of the TOP VIEW figure?

Nah because that would also include choice A; I was thinking since both sides of the "square" type shape must be connected on either side, that is why we rule out choice A and choose C

I think we're both thinking the same thing.

What I mean was this, which is what I think you mean?

yes, looks like C to me too. On A, the end view shows the hole from the top being continuous with the hole from the front. However, in the top view, there is a solid line on the back side where the hole is, indicating it has to meet some kind of "floor" that is not continuous with the bottom hole.
EDIT: The diagram above helps a lot more than my explanation
