I am a IM intern and I really like critical care. In addition, I like cardiology because I really enjoy procedures. If I did a 1 year critical care fellowship after a cardiology fellowship what can I expect both salary wise and job description? Do I work solely inthe CCU or do I also have outpt work? Would my salary be on par with a full time cardiologist? I don't really know how it works after you do a critical care fellowship other than a pulm/ccm fellowship.
