Can someone provide me some insight, or encouragement on where I’m at for step 1?

Can someone give me some insight as to where I’m at?

I could probably use some encouragement but also just some insight from someone more knowledgeable than me as to where I stand right now. I am 2 weeks into dedicated with around 3 weeks to go. So far I’ve got:

NBME 20: 210 (baseline)

UWSA1: 247 after a week

NBME 21: 216 after 2 weeks

So far UW% is 72 with still more than half to go

I was a bit disappointed by my 21 score by I suppose it’s good that I went up from my last NBME. I’ll take another next week and hopefully increase more. My initial goal was 240, not sure this is possible still but I would be very happy with 230-240. What do you all think? Thanks!

Just keep chugging along. It isn’t like you’re gonna stop once someone tells you you’re at your goal. You’re progressing right along with what you want

You are very right! I just want to reassure myself that I’m on the right path and not making progress or something like that.

Man it's wild how disparate the NBME and UWSA numbers are getting. This arms race needs to end.

Anyway OP, that's a solid Uworld percentage for the first half. What really matters is where you plateau in the latter half, if you're consistently hitting ~85% correct on blocks you'll do great.

Thank you! I definitely agree. I feel like it’s the language of the NBMEs. They are written in the most convoluted English and often are so vague that they differ so much from Uworld. Thanks for the encouragement!

Unfortunately the actual test has the same authors as the NBMEs and doesn't really feel like UWorld. But mastering the Uworld material is still the best way to assure yourself you aren't about to get a 210s.
