how does this mcat reporting work? i took the mcat last august and did really bad. i didnt release the score. THe new policy is that med schools cannot see a score before 2003 without my release, they can only see the fact i took it.

im applying this year and am planning on taking the august mcat again. will they just look at my primary without an mcat score and then wait till my score for the new test comes in, or will my score from last year somehow show up since i wont have an mcat score that accompanies my app, cuz it asked if i took the mcat before on the app.

thanks.

edited-> sorry realized i stuck this question in the wrong forum 😱 anyone?

I don't think they will see your previous score. Besides most schools only look at your most recent score.

Something to keep in mind however is some schools require you to release all of your MCAT scores.
