This might sound really stupid but i thought i would ask anyway:
If say your in your junior/soph. year doing undergrad for dental school and ur science GPA is about a 3.1 or 3.2, can u technically take some "intro to biology", "intro to chem" classes that will guarantee an A (mabey in the summer) in order to boost ur science GPA?

Even if does, it will look really fishy to the admissions boards who like to see you take the harder upper division classes. If yo are so worried, retake those you did worse than a C in but at least take the harder stuff and do weel in them. It seems that the more you take, the easier they become as there is tons of overlap. Good luck!

i disagree. if you struggled and earned your stripes doing a bunch of upper division science courses, theres nothing wrong with taking a few easier ones..maybe in a different field like exercise science, computer science, geology etc..
if you get all A's then the pros will far outweigh the cons. if it pops up during an interview then be prepared..but personally i'd much rather walk in with a higher gpa.

90% of science classes are all the same anyways, so why not just take an average well known course. most science classes out there are just memmorization courses, and ull prolly just spend a little more time memmorizing information in physiology as you would in say freshman bio II, but between classes like microbio, physiology, anatomy, theyre all just memmorizing, so nothings really hard or not.

i remember taking diet & exercise...i had to drink protein shakes for extra credit :meanie:
