Can you apply to early?

Well... I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed. I feel as I may have applied to early. Not that it hurts but I applied in November for Fall 2008 sessions. The only one I know that they are going to make an early decision on is UVM and I'm hoping Harvard because they said they have rolling admissions. Is this a benefit to me or could it hurt?
