At my last interview, they told us the admission committee would make their decision today. Is it appropriate to call tomorrow to find out what the decision was even though they said they would mail it? I just got more interview offers that are really far away and if I got into LECOM, I'd decline their offers. Is this a good reason to call?

Well, it depends on who you get when you call. I heard last year that several people were able to get their info over the phone, but others were not. I don't think that it can hurt to call. They already made their decision. Just tell them that you are getting other interview invites that need to be scheduled, but that if you are in there you can just cancel all of those and let other people take your interview spots.

During the interview the school admins should have told you when they would reach a decision. After which you can either email and/or phone to ask them. I called for a school and they said simply..."yes, you are accepted". I had to call them back the next day to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. It's best if you get that piece of paper saying you are accepted in case you need to recheck your sanity a few times. 😀

Haha, yeah I would say you can do that. I did that last year, good thing it turned out well for me!

Good luck!!!! 😀 👍
