how would adcoms perceive the fact that I only applied to their school in my secondaries

there is this DO school that has a program that I really really like, how would adcoms react if i say something like "and thats why x is the only osteophatic school that i applied to"

can adcoms even check this fact?

would it increase my competitivness ?

So you want to enter a profession that values honesty and professionalism, and you're going to start your path by being dishonest? Way to go. That's sarcasm by the way
.
Having a "xsom or bust" mentality shows that you do not make good choices. What happens if you don't get into the only school you're applying to?

Of course you're applying to multiple schools so that question is kind of moot. But let's take your question to face value; what do you think an admissions committee member is going to think??

You really worry me now, op.

No I swear to god I am being 100% truthful. I dont wanna say what DO program exactly but I can DM it to you.

Here is my logic:

*I applied to MD this cycle and if I dont get accepted I want to spend my senior year (next year) improving my applicaiton so that I can apply to the next MD cycle.
*I do not want to apply to all DO schools I could possibly apply to this cycle, becasue chances are I would get accepted somewhere and will not really be allowed to apply to MD next cycle. (imagine if I get accpeted to a DO school before the next MD cycle opens, I cant reject my DO application otherwise no DO school will ever accept me again, but that also means I cant go on with my MD re application)

*However there is 1 DO school exception that I would be happy to apply to this cycl and would not mind ditching my reapplication for MD next cycle if i got accepted to it

*also this DO school has a program that would be soo affordable to me and expedite my goals.
In my secondaries I hope to talk about why I want to get accepetd to this school, the program it offers, and I want to state that because it would be so benififcial for me while the rest would be out of my budget, it is the only DO school this cycle (which is the truth!! I hope they check)

I hope that after I express why I want to go that DO school because fo the programs that it offers and why the rest of the other DO schools wouldnt make much sense to me and would be out of my budget, I hope that they can see how much I want to get accepted into their school and they would take my application more seriously.

I also worry that as you said, they will think that I am wrekless or lying or obsessive and reject me on the spot.
Thats why I came here to ask the opinions of adcoms

Just say that they are your top choice and list all the reasons

ok so eventhough it is the only school i apply to, you dont think its smart or worth it to mention that?

It wouldn't make you special. If anything, I would wonder about your commitment to practicing medicine. "If I don't get here, I rather not be a doctor!" is not very adult sounding. That's added to the fact that I know you wouldn't have a compelling reason to apply to one college only

Maybe it's just my MD admissions bias, but "you're the only osteopathic school I applied to" screams "you're my safety, boo!" (euphemism instead of proper urban dictionary term which I'm sure would be censored here).
