how are you doing

i have a question in bone - age assessment in radiology

the question is

in bone assessment why we use the left hand not the right hand?

i hope you help me to find the answer​

Likely it was just chosen as a standard. Most people are right handed. No other reason I have seen.

Most people are right handed, so you're less likely to mess up your left hand. Not such a problem nowadays, but I guess it was a big enough of an issue when they were deciding upon such things.
