Can you hold the things up to the screen?

Is it allowed to put up maybe your scratchpaper up to the screen during the DAT? Anyone tried?

Using any measuring devices while taking the test is not allowed. I dont remember where i read/heards that before and i didnt want to risk it during the test with a camera right above my head. BUT one of the PAT questions was so bad that i once ended up putting the tip of my finger to the screen for 1-2 secs... and then i was scared till end of the test "what if that was considered cheating???"

any comments on this??

I did, and nobody said anything. Keep in mind the scracth paper are YELLOW. Yes, nothing on the screen will penetrate through the paper. You won't see jack. With the angle viewing question on the PAT, I tear a little corner piece.

However, it might vary among different prometric testing sites.

jk, did you ask the prometic staff, or you just went ahead and did it?

Comet, I don't think your finger counts as a measuring device. Maybe that's ok.
