Can you search threads electronically?

Is there a way to search for a specific topic on the threads in this cycle or in others past.

You can't do it electronically yet (SDN admins are still working on implementing that feature). You can, however, send a written request with your search term to them via snail mail, and they will send you a list of URLs with the threads you wanted.
