Can you submit AACOMAS without entering LOR info?

Yes you can. You can always add LOR later. In my case, my Health Professions Office is directly sending the letters to the school, bypassing AACOMAS.

Yes. I believe you can. I'm also under the impression that you can select 'I'm not adding any evaluations' and then after submitting you can go back later and link interfolio letters to AACOMAS

Hey guys,
I'm just wondering whether the actual verification process will be delayed if my evaluators haven't yet sent in their letters. In the "Evaluators" section, it says the following: "It is important to note that your application will be processed and sent to your designated colleges of osteopathic medicine when all transcripts are received and you have paid the application fee. Your application will not be held up for the receipt of evaluation letters," but when I view my program status, it says my application is still in the "Awaiting Materials" stage. The only materials it looks like it's waiting on are my evaluations (I have paid all fees and all of my transcripts have been received), but because it does not say that my application is currently in the "Verifying" stage, I was wondering whether verification is indeed dependent upon the receipt of my letters of evaluation. By the way, I didn't select the "I'm not adding any evaluations" option. I sent a request to my pre med advisor via AACOMAS, and she'll be submitting my committee letter packet with all my letters.

I'm having the same issue. It's been 2 days and the status hasn't changed to "verifying" yet, and I've emailed them to no response. Also apparently a ton of people are calling AACOMAS right now, so I coudn't get through today.

Hey, are you still having this issue? I checked my app this morning and it finally did change to "verifying." I was emailing them yesterday, too, but I didn't receive any response either. 🙁 Hopefully the status has changed for you!

I can't even check it 🙁 It's just a white page for that part, but other parts of AACOMAS are accessible. WHAT'S HAPPENING?!
With the new application system for AACOMAS, I can't find anywhere that says whether you can add Recommenders through AACOMAS after you submit the application. I know it says you can have letters sent in after, but it doesn't say if you have to put who the recommenders will be before submitting. I want to decide which recommenders I'll have write me LOR after I submit my application. Can I click the "I am not adding any evaluations," submit my application, and still go back after I submit to enter the recommenders? I am thinking no because:
It mentions sections you can change after submitting and that only says "references that have a status of "new" or "in-progress"

Once you submit your application, your AACOMAS application is locked and you may NOT make changes to it. The only sections you may change after submitting include: your contact information, your password and security information, references that have a status of “new” or “in-progress”, and you may add additional colleges. You may also add NEW experiences, achievements, certifications, and test scores, but you may NOT edit those already entered. All other sections will be read-only. Make sure you review your application information closely before submitting to avoid any errors as these may not be corrected later.
