Can you switch from waitlists multiple times?

This is a dumb question and I'm sure it's been asked before, but I need a response ASAP because I'm trying to make a pretty difficult personal decision.

If I am accepted off a waitlist and choose to go to that school, and then another school accepts me from their waitlist, I'm allowed to switch again right? I don't see why not, but I was unsure if schools take these commitments/deposits/whatever else seriously enough that it would be an issue to switch acceptances multiple times.

You can switch, but you will probably lose your deposit money, though that's probably not that much.
