i would just like to comment on the differences ive been noticing.. its obvious that most people on this site are american and most topics ie. PharmCAS and the prereqs etc are all american based and equivalent between the whole country.
correct me if im wrong but to apply to pharmacy in the us you need a bachelors degree first?
in canada, or at least my school, we only need 1 full year(usually done over 2 years) of first year courses, then transfer right into a 4 year program. all we need is 2 phys, 2 calc, 2 chem, 2 bio, 2 english.. all first year.. and pref. 2nd year micb.. to alleviate from first year courses. we do organic chem, biochem, anat and physio alllllll in first year pharmacy PROGRAM.. not as pre reqs
