Im a Canadian applicant looking for apply to U.S. schools for Fall 2010. Im not too aquanited with the american application process and was just wondering if im late on applying?

Im working on my app right now! Ive heard we need a greencard or something when applying..is this true?

Im so new to this process im confused what exactly do we need!!??

U'll need a decent gpa, competitive DAT scores and a bit of luck 😉

You dont have to worry about getting a visa until after u get ur acceptance, so apply away! get those apps in asap. I'm a canadian and i highly underestimated the value of an early application in rolling applications my first time applying. the sooner u get it in, the higher ur chances of getting an interview will be! 😀

I submitted mine on June 9, and it was mailed out June 29. Still haven't gotten any interviews... maybe it's because I have a pretty low GPA 🙁

dont worry saycheese! a lot of schools havent even started reviewing applications yet so i dont think you should worry at all 🙂

great! the sooner the better. you may be a little late to expect a pre-dec 1 interview but u never really kno! ur not considered late yet.
my aadsas application was mailed on july 2nd, but i didnt take my dat until last fri, so it was incomplete until then.
just make sure u get those secondaries out asap as well. i paid my secondary fees via bank drafts. they cost $7.50 each so if u have a lot to make then i suggest u switch ur account (without telling them its only temporary) to one that has unlimited bank drafts (it shud be around $25/month) and then switch back before the month is over 😀. or u can also try to bargain with the teller. theyll always cut u a deal

Also, Im taking hte cDAT on november 7th for the first time. Will this be a disadvantage for me since the schools dont have any DAT scores to look at?

Recommendation letters are required for all schools. Some schools might not review your application until they receive your DAT scores, but AADSAS will still mail out the application despite you having not written them yet.
