Canadian Applicant using WES?

Hello, I will be applying to DO schools from the University of Western Ontario where my grades are reported in percentages. I have read a lot of conflicting information about whether or not I should be using WES. If I submit my transcript straight to AACOMAS without using WES, will they be able to properly interpret my GPA? Will I need WES for entering my grades on the AACOMAS primary?

yeah i think u will need WES...i also had a year or so from a canadian university when i applied to DO this cycle...and i had my equivalency done from WES.
i did need it to fill out my grades on AACOMAS yes!
its not as complicated as it seems though...just sign up for WES and send them ur official original transcripts. then u select the option of having it sent to both your house AND AACOMAS...so two copies will be sent.
then AACOMAS shud also receive ur original percentage transcript from canadian university i believe...so have the uni send that to AACOMAS too...

I never used WES, UofT uses percent grades too. You don't need WES, although you could use it if you are really confused. Just an issue of money.
