Hi all,

I'm tinkering with my Reading Comprehension strategy for the Canadian DAT. I mention Canadian because the pen and paper format lends itself more to reading the questions first if you're that way inclined. So far I've tried reading the entire passage, making a paragraph topic list as per Kaplan and search and destroy. They've all given me similar results...

What strategy do you use fellow Canadians?

Thanks

I think kaplan's strategy is too slow for the canadian dat... I consider myself a pretty fast reader and I finished with only a minute or two to spare.

EDIT: I didn't use kaplan's strategy. I just read the passages and did the questions.

I couldn't believe Kaplan's blue book only contained three practice passages. IMO, their strategy is not ideal for the amount of time we're given, unless you're an extremely fast reader than can read 2 lines at a time... yes, I have MCAT and DAT friends who literally read 2 lines at a time!
