Hello everybody,

I'll be writing my DAT in around a month! Nov 5th, 2016. I had a few questions regarding the things I could bring along on the test day and things that might be provided at the center to each applicant. And how does the test proceed in general?
Here goes:
- Are the tests computer based or paper based? or Both - Questions are on a booklet (like the DAT Prep Manual) but we'll have to input the answers in the computer?
- Are calculators allowed? Or is a computer available for each applicant so we could use the calculator installed in the computer? Because GChem obviously has calculations questions and sometimes Bio does too!
- What stationery are we allowed to bring? Rulers allowed?
- Is the Bio and GChem separately timed? So like 30min for Bio and 30min for GChem? Or is it the 60min continuous for both sections?

It would be of great help if anybody could answer the above. Thank you. Cheers!

-if I recall correctly , you can bring your own eraser but you must use the pencils provided . No rulers allowed

- biology and chemistry are continuous .

Thanks so much! So do we just manually calculate it out for calculation questions? Chads videos would always suggest to use the computer calculator, so I assumed we would have access to a computer!! This is not nice!

I'm pretty sure chad Is referring to the QR section, which the Canadian dat does not have .
