Sent my request for mailing of my Canadian DAT scores to individual schools on June 13th. I received an email from University of Connecticut today that my application is just missing my official DAT scores. A few days ago I received an email from Roseman that my application is on hold because I do not meet the minimum DAT requirements of 17 (even though I do!). After calling Roseman the lady said they don't even have my self-reported DAT scores, she was going to call AADSAS and figure out if it was something on their end or mine but she has yet to get back to me!
I am just wondering how long it takes for American dental schools to receive my Canadian DAT transcripts, it's been almost a month!! The CDA cannot give me an answer to this question so I was just looking to see what the general timeline has been for others to ease my stress here.

Get CDA to resend it ASAP. They apparently didn't send the scores to one of my schools. I originally ordered it to be sent on May 27th. My application has been on hold for almost 2 weeks now without consideration because of it, without me knowing. Either CDA or Canada Post (or both..) are quite incompetent when it comes to sending scores outside of Canada. Hence the fine print, "cannot guarantee delivery times outside of Canada" gibberish. Isn't it great that not only do we pay for individual schools, but they need reminders as well?

Oh my gosh that makes me so nervous. I'll be contacting CDA as soon as I'm home from work. The least they could do is give us a tracking number or something so we know when things have been sent and when they arrive!! Ughh. Do you know how long it took for your scores to be received by the schools they did send to?

It was variable. NYU got it like mid June. Buffalo got it yesterday apparently. Mailing by Canada Post is an absolute mess. You have to keep track of each and every one by yourself. Since there is no tracking number as well, the best you can do is call the schools and ask (once in a while, of course, don't nag them 😛).

It's almost a month and half since I ordered the scores to be sent. In a month and half's time, you can send a packet that small like 10 times around the world lol..........
