Hi everyone,

I wrote the Canadian DAT in November 2013. I will be applying this upcoming cycle and was wondering if I only have to send my DAT transcript to AADSAS instead of to all the individual schools I want to apply too.

Any Canadian applicants that have been in this situation before, please help me out.

You have to manually select those schools through CDA website at the transcript ordering part and send those transcript out to each individual school. AADSAS does not deal with Canadian DAT scores.

Ok thank you, can I do this anytime before the start of the cycle because I know it takes a quite a while for the schools to receive them and I don't want that to risk me having a late application?

I don't think its necessary to send them before, because if we consider that you apply asap (as soon as new cycle opens and app is done within 1-3days), then it takes few more days for school to actually receive that application and they wouldn't review as they get it right away. They will put your file along with other applicants that they receive as a batch (sent out every week). I would say just send that DAT score at the same time you submit (that's what I did) and it took about 2 weeks for DAT score to be delivered to each school.

did you not select which schools would receive your DAT scores when you signed up for the DAT? That's what I did and now, my work is done. I just have to wait for the school to get my scores

Yes I did kenny878, but I selected only five at the time because I wasn't too sure where I wanted to apply until now.

Watch out tho because it takes up to 4-5weeks for them to actually send the scores and probably another week for the scores to arrive to the schools. You know how slow they get loo.
