I'm a Canadian applicant trying to apply to American DO schools. I wanted to know if its easier to get into DO schools rather than MD schools as a Canadian? I was also stressed over having a shadowing experience with a physician as it's extremely difficult to get one in Canada and whether my ECs are good enough.

According to the AACOM GPA translation page, I have a 3.9-4.0 GPA, I have yet to do my MCAT, but my EC's include volunteering as a rec therapy assistant at a hospital, working with an SLP on different initiatives within a hospital, co-founded a community service project to help racialized seniors, and worked as a pharmacy assistant for around 2 years.

WCUCOM is pretty Canadian friendly as well. I would throw in an app

Yes, it is easier for Canadians to get into DO schools than US MD schools. The standards are still higher than those for domestic applicants, of course.
