noting the last thread of this nature turned into a politcal battleground, i thought i'd start a new thread.
in canada, DO's r recognized as full doctors and practice the same way as allopathic docs. but DO schools in canada give u a DO(MP), doctor of osteopathy (manual practice). the focus on OMT is far superior to that of the states. my prf a DO(MP) was telln me he met so many other DOs at a medical conference who were intrigued by the program here in canada.
i dont know really too much about the difference, any reference would be helpful 😀 basically, about canadian DO schools and their practice rights, program length, etc. thnx in adv
