Hello all,
I recently just back my MCCEE mark. I studied my butt off but only ended up with a 302 score. I've heard so many people say different things about the MCCEE test and everyone's answer is something different.
I want to write the NAC and QE1 before applying to bump up my scores but is it worth it?
Some people said you have to get above a 350 otherwise my application won't even be looked at even with a high QE1 or NAC score. Others say you just need to pass and that's fine. So just want to get more people's opinion really.
I wanted to apply in Family Medicine or Internal, but again I've told that they won't look at my application if I get below a 350....so what do you guys think?
I graduate in a few months and I'll have a year off in which I'll probably do some of the paid electives in the US and study for my steps but I really do want to match in Canada ideally.
So in conclusion:
1) How bad is a score of 302?
2) Is it worth it to try and kill the NAC and QE1?
3) Should I just stop now and study for my steps?
I thank you all in advance for your help.
Cheers.
