Hello, I've already done a search on this, but haven't found enough answers. So I'm making a new thread;

asking fellow Canadians which Canadian banks offer the best deal for line of credits (assuming co-signer is available)??

best deal for those without health insurance?

Please help 😳 Thanks~

National Bank gave me the best quote and rate for OD school.
Thank you, fonziefonz 😀 I checked out their site, they do seem to offer a pretty good deal 😀

I got my line of credit a couple years ago from BMO.
I never went to National Bank, but BMO offered me $120,000 with the chance of increasing it if needed.

Thanks sneezy43 for your reply! Oddly, I don't see 120,000 on the site, it's telling me the maximum is $80,000..

Well, they say that the maximum for Optometry is $80K and for medical school is $120K. If you can show that you need mroe than $80K (ie going to school in the States) then they will most likely increase it. That's what they did for me.
You'd probably have to go in and talk to them to find out for sure.
Hope that helps!

Thanks 🙂 I'll do that.

RBC offers 125,000 with co-signer

Does anyone know what the options are for those without a co-signer (in neither Canada nor US) ??😕
