I'm a Canadian student studying at an American undergraduate university right now. I understand that Canadian med schools have their own systems for applications and they open in about a month? I have my MCAT date set for end of May, and I was wondering if time is of the essence for Canadian schools too and I wouldn't be able to do a later MCAT? Also, my school has a committee letter system, and I was wondering if I can still use that for Canadian schools even though they have their own secure links that I am supposed to send to professors.

Thanks

You could probably write the MCAT as late as early August, but if you're ready in May you might as well go ahead with it. There are no rolling admissions or any other kind of system like that in Canada. All the deadlines are set though you should check with individual schools.

I don't really know what the committee letter system is. Can you elaborate?
