Could someone chime in on the timeline for Canadian school acceptances? I keep hearing "around now" but does can anyone give specific dates?

I'm not Canadian, but want to know when we could expect some wait list movement at US schools.

http://www.premed101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51597 this site has links to all of the schools websites and some of the information is there if you do a bit of searching. I have done the best I can to find the information you have requested though. This link is also quite useful http://www.premed101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68050

UBC- Acceptances should already have been sent. Class size of 48.

U of A- Acceptance sent out for a few elite applicants at the beginning of May.The majority are sent in June some time. Class size of 31.

Saskatchewan- Acceptances sent out in mid June. Class size of 28.

Manitoba- Final decisions made at the end of June (interviews are being held around this time). Class size of 29.

Western- Acceptances "made known" by mid may. Class size of 56.

Toronto- Decisions should have been made in mid-April. Class size of 64.

McGill- Best I can find is some time during May. Class size of 26.

Laval- If my french were better I might be able to help more readily... I am not sure that this schools acceptances will change much for U.S. waiting lists given there is a cegep (type of schooling) system there and most, if not all, of the accepted will be French-Canadian. Don't count it out totally though. Class size of 48.

Montreal- (missed the accent aigu... oops) similar to Lava, but again, don't count it out. Class size of 84.

Dalhousie- A few acceptances sent out mid-March, all others notified by June 15th. Class size of 38.

I hope this helps ll those wanting to know the status of Canadian schools in hope that waiting list movement for U.S. schools will increase soon.
