Canadian VS. US DAT !!!

I have already taken the canadian DAT and did well on science and terrible on PAT. I plan to take the US DAT sometime later this summer.

Has anyone here taken both Canadian and US DAT?

I know there are differences in terms of exam scope like carving, and organic chem section.

BUT I am curious as to how the difficulty level or time pressure compares between the 2 versions. Any opinions/ comments anyone??

basically the exact same thing except u.s has organic chem and quantitative reasong..and no carving. plus i think 10 minutes more for the reading section. and its all done on computer. thats it in a nutshell

But in terms of the complexity of the science questions? Or the # of questions that has to be answered in the allotted time? Are they equally challenging?

The Kaplan DAT book is geared towards the U.S DAT, but in the actual CDN DAT I found the chem and bio sections to be at an equal level of difficulty. So that should give you a good indication. The Perceptual part of the CDN DAT however I found to be much more challenging than the examples in Kaplan... Angle determination was much tougher, and a couple of questions on the "painted squares" were very odd. Some of the 3D structures almost looked as if they were drawn wrong...A lot of people at the test centre felt the same way.
