Canadians Studying at SGU or ROSS and coming back.....

Hey guys I am presently doing my bachelors in Montreal and me and my GF were considering going to Ross (or SGU).
Is there a chance that I can come back to practice afterwards seeing as the CDMQ are so tightassed?

Do you anyone who has stiudied there and come back to Canada whether they did residencies in the US or in Canada?

Is it a risk ?
Because I'm only in my first year of my undergraduates and we wanted to do this to get a change in scenery for a while,
Ross is 20 months out plus residency.
And is SGU considered to be better than Ross in terms of North American recognition?

It is a significant risk.

Avoid the Caribbean unless it is your absolute last option because you will face hardship after hardship. This is especially true for a Canadian.

Both Ross and SGU share the same stigma and have no name advantage when you apply to residency.

If this is your first year of undergrad then you have many options even if you did badly for a semester or two. The Caribbean is ideal for vacations, not medical school.

What do you mean by many options?

This sucks, what about studying in in the states (i.e. Cali or Hawaii?)
