does anyone know how canadian applicants are treated in the optho match? know of any in your programs?

I haven't met many Canadians in US programs. I believe Canadians are considered to be FMGs, and according to previous stats, few FMGs match.

However, two years ago Iowa trained several fellows who were Canadian.
