Cancel AMCAS Before Verification?

Is it possible to cancel your AMCAS application if it hasn't been verified yet and then start again to apply for the same cycle? I am wondering because there is a research work/experience topic I wanted to add now that I have started it. Would this way work?

If you cancel it, you are not allowed to reapply for the same cycle. You can either mention it in secondaries or send the schools an update further down the line.

Great, this is good to know. I was hoping there would be an opportunity to add it in secondaries but wasn't sure. Will try to do it that way, thanks!
