Canceling post-december interviews

Hi all,

Does any one have experience with canceling post-december interviews? How should this be done (e-mail, phone). Is this frowned upon? Also, if you got into your top choice are we supposed to start withdrawing applications out of respect for other applicant or does this just resolve itself at the end of the cycle?

Any input would be great. Thanks.

I called UNLV like 4 times and only got voice mail, so I left a message the last time. Then I sent a polite thanks-but-no-thanks email and received a reply wishing me luck.
